Golden Trio back on the road again! :)

We went for a small trip after Xmas and ended up on the famous Great Ocean Road, next to the southern coast not far away from Melbourne. A beautiful road trip that took us 4 days and 3 interesting nights with our new little home, namely the tent we got from Perth :) It was worth to carry it along across the Nullarbor :)

One amazing thing, that we really like with Australia, is that they have electric "bbq's" everywhere. It is a nice thing to do on a sunday with your family or friends - to gather and have a bbq together next to the seaside or in a park. ALSO, it is very useful when you are a budget backpacker :) Camping on free spots, shower in public bathrooms and cooking on public spots is THE life a backpacker wants! Well, regarding the car we went with, people would never say that we are budget travelers! :) HAHA - the face expressions of the people on the camping spots when we entered with the Jaguar and took out our little tent was just priceless! :) Amazing how people categorize each other based on cars, positions and other stereotypes. Now, THIS is a perfect example - do not judge the book on the cover :)

We spent some nice time in the cities on the way, on the camping spots, and on the road - the Great Ocean Road :) . We saw the 12 apostles (only 7 left though), had some Australian fish and chips, and went to an other free camping spot in a place called Johanna, where we met Darek, Pawel, and Fabian - three cool guys on a similar roadtrip :)

We enjoyed our last night in the tent with litteraly EVERYTHING we had with us ON us :) We had learnt our lesson from the previous night :)

The trip was a prefect way to end this year :) We are now ready to welcome the new year with more adventures and experiences! :)
